Hospice
A Hospice Member is any licensed hospice organization that actively provides direct care.
Developing Hospice
A Developing Hospice Member is one in the start-up phase of business. The organization may not already be licensed and should be taking steps to become licensed. It receives limited technical support from NHPCA with the ability to purchase additional consulting services as needed.
Hospice Multiple Location
In addition to Hospice Provider Membership dues, dues are required for each multiple location office of a Hospice Provider Member. A multiple location office is defined as an extension of a Hospice Provider Member's headquarters location. If a multiple location office is identified on your State of Nebraska license application, then you must also identify these multiple location offices in your NHPCA membership registration.
Organization
Organization Members are organizations with goals and interests related to the hospice philosophy and consistent with NHPCA goals. Includes inpatient or residential hospice facilities. Individual members cannot be employed by a non-member Organization.
Long Term Care - Nursing Facility
This membership category includes those organizations that are licensed
only
as a nursing facility. If you are a dually licensed facility (i.e., you are licensed as a nursing facility
and
as an assisted living facility), please select the Long Term Care - Dually Licensed Membership.
A nursing or assisted living facility that exclusively provides inpatient hospice care is not eligible for this membership and must join as an Organization Member.
Long Term Care - Assisted Living Facility
This membership category includes those organizations that are licensed
only
as an assisted living facility.
Long Term Care - Dually Licensed Facility
This membership category includes those organizations that are licensed as a nursing facility
and
as an assisted living facility. Dues are based on the total number of all beds licensed as skilled nursing, nursing facility, assisted living and respite care, plus $75.
A nursing or assisted living facility that exclusively provides inpatient hospice care is not eligible for this membership and must join as an Organization Member.
Coalition
Individual
Individual Members endorse the hospice philosophy and are interested in promoting the goals of NHPCA throughout Nebraska. A person may not hold an Individual Membership if they are employed by a non-member Hospice, Organization, Developing Hospice, Long Term Care Facility, or other health-related organization.
